ORGANIZATION OF THE WORK OF THE VETERINARY LABORATORY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR STAFF AND EQUIPMENT

The article presents the results of studying the organization of the work of the Tatar branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Federal Center for Animal Health" in accordance with the general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories defined by GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019. It has been established that the veterinary testing laboratory has the status of a branch of a legal entity, a properly staffed staff of qualified and competent specialists in the field of specific types of laboratory activities, and a material and technical base equipped with appropriate equipment. The laboratory structure includes management and 5 departments (bacteriology, food microbiology and VSE; chemical-toxicological department; molecular research department; serology and leptospirosis department; customer relations department). The laboratory is equipped with modern high-precision equipment, divided into main, auxiliary and control means. The equipment is marked, coded and has information on the verification of measuring instruments in the Federal Information Fund. This ensures its compliance with the general requirements for personnel and equipment defined by GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019.
