The effectiveness of complex drugs for the correction of metabolism in breeding bulls

To maintain the reproductive function of breeding bulls at a high level, it is necessary to fully meet their needs for nutrients and energy. The main nutrients include digestible protein containing essential amino acids, carbohydrates, fats, fatty acids, macro- and microelements, vitamins in certain ratios. At the same time, feeds of plant and animal origin are widely used.
Imbalance in the intake of nutrients, vitamins, macro- and microelements leads to metabolic disorders, and subsequently to increased formation and accumulation of toxic free radicals, and increased lipid peroxidation of cell membranes. In this regard, along with adjusting the composition of diets, there is a need to use various drugs. At the same time, the most effective are complex drugs of natural origin. These include "Stimulin" and "Ferraminovit", created at the Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine on the basis of chelate complexes and natural components.
In breeding bulls, metabolic disorders were manifested by hyperproteinemia, increased bilirubin content, increased lipid peroxidation, hypoglycemia, carotene, triglyceride, magnesium deficiency, low lipase and α-amylase activity. Conducting a course of treatment with the use of complex preparations "Stimulin" and "Ferraminovit" had a positive effect on the main biochemical parameters of the blood serum of bulls and ensured the stabilization of metabolism.
