Abstract

In modern mink farming, special attention is still paid to high-quality and balanced feeding of animals. Often, fur farms are forced to use raw materials that do not meet the requirements for the content of basic nutrients in the diet, as well as low sanitary and chemical quality. This is due to violations of their production, processing, storage and transportation. At the same time, the feed value decreases, toxic substances and fat oxidation products accumulate in them. As a result, minks have deteriorating growth, viability, and productivity (the size and quality of the resulting skins) decreases.

To solve this problem, manufacturers recommend using various complex additives. Antioxidants are substances that can stabilize biochemical processes directly in the feed mixture, as well as inhibit the processes of lipid peroxidation in the animal's body itself. The drug endox is a complex of various antioxidants, such as ethoxyquin, butylhydroxyanisole, mono- and diglycerides of edible fatty acids, citric and phosphoric acids. This drug has found wide application in agriculture and has proven itself as an effective antioxidant that helps to improve the productive health of farm animals.

Based on the results of experiments and histological studies on young minks, it was found that the use of the multicomponent antioxidant endox in the diet led to the activation of metabolic processes in liver parenchyma cells, improved bile outflow, regeneration of the intestinal mucosa, and restoration of the process of glomerular filtration of the kidneys.
